Climate change is here – just this year, Earth hit a major planetary milestone, warming 1.5C over preindustrial temperatures. Even as we work together to decrease heat-trapping greenhouse gas emissions to limit warming, our challenge is to adapt to this warmer world that we’ve created. At Planette, we are a mission-driven climate adaptation company, focused on helping the world through this major climate transition. We bring the latest, actionable climate intelligence information from the research domain to the real world, to build resilience into businesses and governments in the face of a warming planet. We use the latest science and AI to produce season-ahead and year-ahead forecasts of key environmental variables, forecasts that bridge the gap between weather (up to 14 days), and climate (30 years and beyond), to provide actionable information over the time horizons that organizations need it: quarterly, annually, and over 5 years.
